Bridgetown International University School of Medicine's medical degree program in Barbados is open to prospective students from all around the world. The Bridgetown International University School of Medicine takes students on a rotating basis; semesters begin in January, May, and September. Admissions committees take into account a comprehensive evaluation of students based on their academic standing, maturity, intelligence, and motivation.
There is no place for discrimination in terms of gender, religion, age, national origin, race, color, or disability. The university has as its policy and practice adhering to the relevant and workable disability legislation in Barbados.
Students lacking the necessary prerequisites and college credits will be granted admission to the Pre-Medical phase of our 5.5-Year MD program which spans a duration of four semesters.
The following are the eligibility criteria:
Students who have earned a bachelor's degree or its equivalent will be granted admission to the Basic Sciences phase of our 4-Year MD program which consists of six semesters of Basic Sciences courses and seventy-six weeks of Clinical Sciences Clerkship experiences.

Students previously enrolled in a WHO recognized, IMED-listed medical school may apply for admission with advanced standing, provided they meet all the requirements for admission to the School of Medicine.
